The GDA Foundation and GEDIPE-Association for the Collective Management of Author Rights and Film Producers jointly promote this new program that was created to respond to a concern shared by both entities, which emerges from the precariousness of the labour market for actors in the arts sector, notably for actors and actresses up to the 30 and from the age of 60.

The Contracting + Programme thus aims to create more opportunities for the exercise of the actors ' professional activity up to the age of 30 and from the 60, least favoured by the existing conditions in the areas of film and television, facilitating their hiring by the audiovisual producers.

The Contracting + program is intended for professional Portuguese nationality actors and actresses, or with tax residency in national territory, aged 30 and under 60. They are only eligible for this professional programme that have no declared income from the audiovisual sector in the last 12 months higher than € 5,000, which have not earned an annual income, in the last fiscal year, higher than € 20,000 illiquid. The Program does not apply to actors who stand with roles of protagonists in the candidate works to the supports.

Young Actors (up to age 30)
The Contracting + program aims to encourage the hiring of young female actors licensed in the area of interpretation, or with properly avalized vocational training and experience in that area, with a view to promoting and facilitating their insertion into the labour market within the audiovisual sector.

Senior actors (from the age of 60)
The Hiring + programme aims to to promote and increase work opportunities in the areas of film and television to artists with longer and more unprotected careers by the current conditions of the market, facilitating active ageing processes and extending the professional activity of artists.

The programme consists of the creation of an online database to facilitate the selection of the actors by the producers and artistic makers of the film and television sector, through the awarding of financial supports for the remuneration of the contracted artists.
