The Film and Film Department of the Higher School of Theatre and Cinema could not be more proud that the 2023 edition of IndieLisbon has selected 11 Alumni ESTC titles for the national competition of short and long films (in a total of 24 selections).

Are congratulations to the alumni and the teams that produced the films:      

Are They Dildotectonic, from Tomás Paula Marques;  

Between the Light and the Nothing, from Joana Sousa;  

Sulu S' Áua, from Sofia Borges;  

Days of Cama, from Tatiana Ramos;  

The Febre of Maria João, of Afonso and Bernardo Rapazote;  

Carrasco's Pátio, of André Gil Mata;  

Death in August, of Bruno Abib;  

Autoerotic, of Joao Martin;

The Tears of Adrian, of Miguel Moraes Cabral;

Why Are You Image Plus?, of Diogo Baldaia

And the current Laura Andrade aluna with the short film Now Frenesim.    

In addition, in the Novvery section, we have still 5 selected films from newly-icenced and current ESTC students (in a total of 18 selections). Very promising talents for the future of cinema in Portugal, are they:  

The Obra, of Carolina Rosendo;  

In My Life, of José Lobo Antunes;  

By The Yes, By The No, of Laura Andrade;

Rubab, of Marta Vaz;

Salto, of Mariana Nunes.

 

are mandatory visits to the 20th edition of IndieLisbon from April 27 to May 7.
